Description:
And now a small, agile hiking song. The melody is a folk tune and was recorded around 1826. I have set the melody to 4 voices and composed a fugue on the theme. The piece is in 3 parts, the fugue in the middle part is framed by the song.
Re-played again on the beautiful Melcer Chamber Music Hall organ .... Have fun listening!
