(b c1680; d Vienna, 10 April 1733). Austrian organist and composer.
He may have received his education at the Heiligenkreuz monastery, where another Johann Baptist Peyer (1651–1726) worked as camerarius major from 1693 to 1698; the younger (and possibly related) J.B. Peyer was active as organist and musical instructor there from 1698. He worked for the Empress Eleonora, widow of Leopold I, from about 1712 until her death.
I do not yet have an organ from the 1700s but this one from 2012 suits the music.

Oh and this organ has so many registration possibilities I played it twice.
1. Flet kryty 8' and Oktawa 4'
2. Gemshorn 8' and Flet kryty 4'
The list of 53 compositions by Peyer is in the attachment below. Please feel free to play any piece(s) you like.
