Paul Bryan (b. 1950) — Four Psalm Preludes (1993–97) for organ

1) Psalm 130:1
“Out of the deep have I called unto thee, O Lord: hear my voice.”

2) Psalm 150:4
“Praise him in the cymbals and dances: praise him upon the strings and pipe.”

3) Psalm 23:1
“The Lord is my Shepherd: therefore can I lack nothing.”

4) Psalm 150:6
“Let everything that hath breath praise the Lord”

English composer Paul Bryan (b. 1950) was born in Chester and educated at the Royal Manchester College Music where he studied with Ronald Frost and Keith Bond. He was director of music at St. John’s College School, Cambridge from 1977 to 1999.
