After studying piano and organ, he devoted himself to composition under the guidance of Renzo Bossi and Giorgio Federico Ghedini. In the prestigious basilica of S. Satire he was owner since 1967 as organist and director of "I Nuovi Cantori di S. Satiro". From 1975 he also added the ownership of the prepostural church of Jesus Good Shepherd in Milan. All published and unpublished compositions are kept at the Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo in Milan (Fondo Setti).
