Here I present a rendition of Roman Bissinger's beautiful setting of the hymn tune O Jesulein süß. I first encountered the work here on CB when Roman generously shared his rendition along with the score. http://www.contrebombarde.com/concerthall/music/28297
The work itself comprises a gentle introduction based primarily on the harmonies of the hymn, followed by a "verse" of the hymn with the melody soloed on a soft string with trem. I opted to repeat the introduction to conclude the work and therefore turned it into ABA structure rather than the original AB.
My hat is tipped to Roman Bissinger as this is terribly lovely.
