Toccata sur "Il est né, le divin Enfant"

This is the second piece in Bédard's collection titled Deux Noëls. The direct translation of "Il est né, le divin Enfant" is "He is born, the divine Child". It's a French Christmas carol and Bédard has used the theme as the basis for the composition. It's also typically in French Toccata style—that being, busy manual work with the tune underpinned in the pedals.

It's definitely a satisfying piece to play!
