Passacaglia in c, BWV 582 Uploaded by: AMattes Composer: Bach, J. S. Organ: 1732 Andreas Silbermann, Ebersmünster, France Software: Hauptwerk IV Views: 1145
This composite, dedicated to Saint Margaret Mary Alacoque, is based on the Casavant organ of the Basilique Notre Dame in Montréal, Quebec, Canada. It uses similar sample sets (Casavant Demo, Notre Dame de Metz, Mt Carmel Skinner) in order to achieve a resemblance to the actual organ and its acoustics. However, it does not intend to exactly replicate the organ, but rather to give the resemblance as stated above. It is a Symphonic type with reverb around 4 sec. It is a 99 stop organ with 4 manuals and pedal, and the keyboard compass in 61/32.
