Leonardo Antonio Di Chiara (b. 1969) — Fantasia on Old Hundredth (2017) for organ
Italian organist and composer Leonardo Antonio Di Chiara (b. 1969) was born in Foggia and was educated there and in Lecce. He has won awards in several performance competitions and is active as a solo, duo, and concerto performer. Di Chiara is ethnically a member of the Arbëreshë people (also known as the Italo-Albanians) and has been particularly active in researching the history of Arbëreshë music. On this subject, he has published “La musica arbëreshë di Greci,” a monograph sponsored by the Patrocinio della Regione Campania.
