American composer Gilbert M. Martin (b. 1941) is one of the most widely-published and known composers in the field of American sacred music. A native of Southbridge, Massachusetts, Mr. Martin studied organ with Alexander McCurdy and George Lynn at Westminster Choir College in Princeton, New Jersey, where he was honored as a distinguished composer and alumnus. He has published hundreds of compositions and served for many years on the editorial staff of the Lorenz Corporation.
