He obtained the diplomas of piano and composition at the Academy of Bologna in 1900, of organ and choral singing at the Conservatory of Milan in 1905 and 1911, of conducting in Bologna in 1913.
His activity was varied and varied as a teacher, organist in S. Fedele for twenty years, conductor and composer: he left a vast collection of compositions for organ, many Masses and various sacred pieces. It should be remembered that in 1911 in France he was the winner of an international organ music competition.
