Præludium

The second complete anonymous piece in the Lynar B3 manuscript is a prelude in G. Short as it is, it has a clear structure. After a short introduction, a theme is presented in the soprano voice, that in contrapuntally develloped in the remainder of the piece. In the final bars it is even presented three times in dimunition. All in all, a quite well written work, that makes one wonder who the composer might have been.
