After scientific studies, Sylvain Tallé joined the University of Tours and obtained a degree in musicology. He successfully passes the competition to enter the military music as a saxophonist but prefers to go to teaching and obtains the diploma of teacher of schools. He taught for 25 years in primary school.
From 2005, he returned to music and began to write regularly small pieces, then larger compositions that he shares on a site of free music.
In 2012 he joined the BrassBerry (brassband) and wrote in 2018 a composition for this orchestra which is performed in public.
2016 marks a turning point as Sylvain begins a wind instrument repair training to set up as a craftsman.
Passionate about Baroque music, he wrote many pieces in this style, but also more contemporary compositions.
