Widor Symphony No.5 Allegro Vivace

Ever since I saw the great Jean Guillou play this piece on his new van den Heuvel organ in the St. Eustache on TV almost 30 year ago I was deeply impressed with it. It was my first experience with the Symphonic organ music and I realy liked it! So as soon I was 'up to it' I wanted to study this wonderful piece. I had the privilege to perform it in the great church of Gorinchem during a concert for members of the Dutch magazine 'De Orgelvriend' at the age of 18.
So, when working on our new symphonic sampleset it didn't take long for chosing this great piece for a demo. I think one can hear the French influences very well and man... I love that 32 reed. It really gives me the 'st. Ouen feeling'.
