Description:	German composer Bertold Hummel was born in 1925 as son of a teacher and organist in Hüfingen. He studied with Harald Genzmer (composition) and Atis Teichmanis (cello). 1963 he became teacher for composition in Würzburg, 1973 professor. Bertold Hummel died 2002 in Würzburg.
