Description:	Manfred Schlenker (1926-2023) studied church music in Halle/Salle. In 1956 he became Director of Music at Stendal Cathedral and in 1974 at Greifswald Cathedral. From 1975 to 1988 he headed also the School of Church Music in Greifswald. Since his retirement in 1988 he has been working as a freelance musician.
