Andrew Moore (b. 1954) is a composer, editor, author, Catholic priest, and painter. He was born in London and educated at the Royal Academy of Music as well as in Berlin and St. Petersburg. After obtaining a degree in theology at Cambridge University, he joined the Benedictine Acommunity at Downside Abbey and taught at the Downside School. Moore has also served as parish priest in Portsmouth, Lambourn, Hungerford, and Ascot. He is a prolific composer and has been a frequent contributor for many years to the Kevin Mayhew catalog.
