Willem Vogel (1920-2010)
was the cantor and organist of the Oude Kerk in Amsterdam.

He studied the organ with Albert de Klerk, then the city organist of Haarlem and professor at the Amsterdam Sweelinck-Conservatorium.

He wrote many melodies for the Dutch Hymnals and composed works for organ, orchestra and voices.
He was one of the leading musicians of church music in Holland.

This charming prelude in old style is an example of his art.
