Here is my first and (probably) last contribution to the Advent / Christmas season.

So many members are uploading a plethora of advent and christmas pieces by a wealth of little-known authors that imho it is for the best not to hinder them in their efforts.

We all know and love this one!

I have no "real" French baroque organ to play this piece on, but Cavaille-Coll in his profound wisdom did not alter the St. Omer organ to a romantic instrument and respected the work of the Desfontaine brothers, creating a masterpiece by doing so.
