Herr Jesu Christ, du höchstes Gut (2nd setting) (2 Versus)

Walther's second setting of this chorale provides us with two further verses. The first is set as a 3-part texture for manuals only. The second verse is for two contrasting manuals and pedal, with the cantus firmus appearing sometimes in the soprano, sometimes in the tenor voice.

I am using the Menesterol instrument from Sonus Paradisi for the next few chorale preludes. I still feel that this set is one of the best values out there as far as smaller instruments are concerned.
