Description:	This is a re-recording of this piece with another sample. (The former one had been recorded with the Caen Extension) In the early editions of the symphony this noble Prélude had been the introduction to the following "Variations" where its theme returns later as Passacaglia. Unfortunately Widor removed this movement in the editions after 1901.
