The third movement from the collection (Poèmes Évangéliques) shows off the French Romantic organ at full rage with obligatory 32' Contre Bombarde. It makes for quite a triumphal entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

The Gregorian antiphon "Hosanna filio David" is heard first in the manuals and then in the pedals in augmentation.
