Rolf Schweizer (1936-2016) was a German composer and cantor.

Schweizer studied in Heidelberg with Wolfgang Fortner, Hermann Meinhard Poppen, Wolfgang Dallmann, and Heinz Werner Zimmermann. From 1956 to 1966 he was cantor in Mannheim, from 1966 to 2001 in Pforzheim. Rolf Schweizer was one of the protagonists of the popular „new spiritual songs” in Germany.
