Fuga für's volle Werk (opus 11 nr 1)

Johann Georg Meister (1798 – 1870) was a German organist and composer. He was organist in the Stadtkirche in Hildburghausen. His opus 11 is available as a digital copy in the Saxon State and University Library Dresden. It’s difficult to read so I decided to republish it in a modern edition. Number 1 is a fugue for full organ (“für’s volle Werk”). It is a bit academic in that it neatly follows ‘the rules’ (exposition, episode, presentation in minor keys, episode, enlargement in subdominant, episode, stretto) but it has some nice moments.
