A delightful piece by an English composer called Trevor Duncan, who used to work for the BBC. Those living across the pond may be excused for not knowing this music, which was composed in 1959, and later used as the theme tune for a TV series called 'Dr Finlay's Casebook' about a Scottish rural doctors' practice. This is a light orchestral piece, with the strings section taking centre stage. I have tried to keep an orchestral sound, which I think the Paramount 320 does amazingly well with its plethora of string ranks.
