This was the introit that was sung at the Fourth Advent Service in Javea, Costa Blanca in Spain, by the Montgo Chorale choir.
Gordon Lawson himself was directing and yours truly played the organ during the service.
Even here in Spain British people are upholding the old ways from home and rightly so.
There were quite a lot of people attending as it has become a regular yearly event now.
So I thought I'd upload it, as the piece is as Christmassy, sweet and cuddly as anyone can imagine.
I put "Contemporary" in the period box and it is, written not long ago, but often music from that period sounds like a chainsaw cutting through galvanized tin. This is the refreshing exception.
I did not have the choir for the recording, as many of them are back to England for the holidays, so I yanked out the trusty old synthesizer to play the melody line on a mellowy flute.
