Bertram Luard-Selby (12 February 1853 – 26 December 1918) was an English composer and organist. He was born in Kent and studied with Reinecke at the Leipzig Conservatorium. Along with other positions he was organist at Salisbury (1881) and Rochester (1900) Cathedrals. He wrote much church music but also some operas including a very popular one act opera Weather or No for two characters.
As Salisbury is so popular and this is such a gentle piece is is played on the sweet sounding organ of Lipiny from Piotr Grabowski.
