Variations sur un Noël (op. 20)

Marcel Dupré's masterful variations on the old French Christmas tune "Noël Nouvelette".

Dupré used many composing techniques in this piece; some ingenious canons and quite a lot of variations demanding all kinds of piano techniques at the organ. The last variation is a fugato that culminates in a spectacular toccata.
