Description: | Ow yes, it's another Toccata recording on Halloween. So what! :)
I'll use any excuse to play.
When I was five my grandmother took me to St. Mary's Basilica in Gdansk, where the organ just had been restored, and I heard this piece played lived.
It impressed me so much, I never stopped listening to organ music since :)
My dad later made the mistake of teaching me how to play the opening on the piano we had at home, and I think I must have tortured my family for endless hours with the sort of random key pressing a kid does all while pretending I am actually playing the cathedral organ :)
Coupled with my endless playing the same three music cassettes and LP of organ music over and over again, I must have been a rather annoying five-year old for a while.
