Would not "The Princess Who Kissed Mozart" be a great title for a novel? (See video description). -- The problem with the Princess Amélie is that she owned two quite substantial organs but all that survives from her for that instrument are a few chorales...Then there is the OTHER Anna Amalia, who wrote chamber music that sounds as if written by a different person: much less austere, sensuous even. Alas, it's inaccessible to the organist -- unless someone goes and does an organ arrangement, as Christa Rakich has done here. Links to recordings of the work in its original form, to other chamber music by A.A. (and other members of the family) and Christa Rakich's score in the video description.
