On Top of Old Smoky

Popularized by Pete Seeger from a version that he learned in the Appalachians. It became a hit and was performed by many with a parody version which was a hit, "On Top of Spaghetti". Even done by Alvin & the Chipmunks. I think this is liken to the theater organ sing a longs that were popular in movie theaters that had the massive pipe organs.
