Juan Correa (b early 17th century), was a Portuguese composer. A certain Juan Correa was hired as cornett player at S Salvador, Seville, on 18 March 1634 and continued there at least until 2 September 1644. His name suggests a relationship to Francisco Correa de Arauxo, who was then organist of S Salvador. It is unclear whether he was the composer of two fine variation Tientos (called ‘Obras’) ascribed to Juan Correa
