As a demonstration of the new sample set Wildervank (Walcker 1913) I play the Three Preludes (founded on Welsh Hymn Tunes) by Ralph Vaughan Williams. A note says that these preludes are intended to be played as a series, but can also be performed separately. They are dedicated to Alan Gray.
The first prelude is called Bryn Calfaria and is based on a melody by W. Owen (1814 - 1893).
