Here's yet another post of this toe-tapping piece! I love to play it - I get swallowed up in the pure joy of its enthusiasm and bounce.
This is a little faster than some play it, and a lot faster than many more play it, so if you'd like a more stately, dignified version, you'll find it here in the Concert Hall. That's what's so great about this group - the various interpretations and choices we make in performing a piece.
Registration note: The Swell (full to reeds) is coupled with both the 8' and 4' couplers to the Great (principals 8 + 4), and the Solo Tuba is coupled to the Swell, with the Swell Unison Off. There seems to be an anomaly in the couplers, as I could couple the 4' Swell to Pedal okay, but if I coupled the Swell to Pedal at the unison level, the Tuba played on the pedals as well!
