[7.1ch] Trumpet Tune For Ascension

OK, it *is* a bit late for Ascension, but as soon as I found out that almost no piece of Grimoaldo Macchia is listed on CCH, I tried to replay a piece by ear that heard about a year ago.

I deeply apologize for introducing Mr. Macchia with such a "stumbled" and modified performance, but hopefully this will encourage someone among the professionals to perform the correct version by playing from the score. -- I think that Grimoaldo Macchia is a modern composer (just 9 years older than I am), whose works should not be missing at CCH.

For those who own a 7.1 surround system, an 8-channel FLAC file can be picked up here to get an impression of what it will sound like in my living room:
