Continuing my exploration of music for keyboards only, this is a lovely piece by the early Baroque composer Jan Pieterzoon Sweelinck. Playing this was at the edge of my current abilities, so I have selected the version with the most musical of the flubs from the 20+ takes I attempted.
Is this soft registration appropriate? I was originally playing it on a different organ with contrasting foundations on both manuals, but to my taste it sounds better on this earlier instrument with flutes against principals
Manual I
Fletten 8'
Fletten 4'
Principal 4'
Manual II
Copula Maior 8'
Copula Minor 4'
