Johann Christian Heinrich Rinck (1770 - 1846) studied organ and composition with Johann Christian Kittel, who was himself a pupil of Bach. Rinck became organist and Cantor in Darmstad. His organ compositions were widely acclaimed and his "Praktische Orgelschule" was used to teach organ students well into the 20th century.
His opus 20 contains 24 trios in all major and minor keys of the chromatic scale. I have an edition that only contains twelve of these. Since I have no idea of the original ordering of the trios, I use the numbering of the edition I have; but it is probably wrong.
I arranged the 12 trios in 4 sets of 3 trio's each, mimicing a kind of triosonate. This second set contains the trio's 8 (c minor), 2 (c major) and 11 (g minor).
