This is demonstrating the Cornet sample set from AkkerOrgels in the Netherlands. The instrument was recorded from the playing by Gerhard Webbink. It has been designed as a dry sample set intended primarily for use in a church or auditorium. The sample set also includes an 8' Hohlpijp.
In this recording, I'm playing the middle section of Douglas Bush's "High on the Mountain Top" to demonstrate up to 6-part harmony with the Cornet sample set. The range of the keyboard is a full 61 notes.
Later on I plan to try to use this in conjunction with the two surrounding parts done on a large organ, but currently I'm awaiting my Lexicon MX200 so I can add the appropriate amount of reverberation to match that of the organ.
