James Edward Goettsche (1943) descending from a family of German origin, while he was a student at San Francisco State University in 1961, he had the opportunity to meet Maestro Fernando Germani, who invited him to continue his studies organ in Rome, where in 1968 he graduated in organ and composition at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory under the guidance of the famous Roman Master, then organist at St. Peter's. Since 1989 he is organist of the Basilica of St. Peter in Vaticano.Dal 1989 to 2010 was organist for the Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff. The Master is also an honorary organist of the Basilica of Santa Francesca Romana in the Roman Forum. It has also been a lecturer at several conservative state.
