Sample Producer: Sonus Paradisi
Sample Set: St. Omer, Cavaillé-Coll 1855
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Romantic
Description:
While preparing the recessional-organpiece for the solemn mass on next Saturday I made two recordings of "Carillon-Sortie".

This mass is the opening-event to the "Rhedaer Orgeltage". This is an international organ-concert-series on the oustanding Fischer&Kr;ämer-Organ (III/50) of St. Clemens in Rheda (GER). Every year in Sept./Okt. famous organists are invited to play on this fine french-style organ since 28 years. In the summer-months there are weekly concerts on Friday-evening.

You will find this St.-Omer-version of "Carillon-Sortie" and also a version with Caen uploaded today on CCH.
For me its very interesting to hear, how much different some details sound on this both instruments.
Both recordings are played LIVE of course without using any Midi-help. - So at the end it was a very amusing detail for me, that both recordings are exactly 5:34 long, although the organs (and the acoustics) let me play some sections very different...
I love both instruments likewise - please enjoy - Engelbert
