Composer: Haspel, Joseph
Sample Producer: Sonus Paradisi
Sample Set: St. Omer, Cavaillé-Coll 1855
Software: Hauptwerk IV
Genre: Modern
Description:
Joseph Haspel, composer and organist, wrote this very beautiful and intimate chorale- like piece.
He graciously let me have it to upload it to the Concert Hall and for use in the churches I play in.

It is also very suited for demonstrating different sounds on the beautiful the St. Omer sampleset, as it is rather short.

So I recorded it three times in a row with different registrations.

Here they are:

# 1:
Rec: Viola di Gamba 8, Voix Celestes
Ped: Flute 16
Ped Coupl a recit

# 2:
Rec: Flute oct 4
Ped Coupl a Recit
Tremolo

# 3:
Rec: Flute Harm 8, Viola di Gamba 8, Basson Hautbois 8
Ped Flute 16
Ped Coupl a Recit

Numbers 2 and 3 start at 1.44' and 3.18'

Joseph also did a recording of this piece on St. Eucaire, which can be found here:

I hope you like Joe's composition as much as I do.
