Ca 1930, shortly after the conservatoire, André Fleury composed a set of 24 pieces for organ or harmonium. Here is a bunch of five of them, who together can form as a kind of « mini imaginary symphony » :
- n°24 Allegro vivo (as a toccata) : a short but typical french toccata, with a somewhat nostalgic theme. The atmosphere and the writing have something of Barié’s toccata, which is too in b minor. It was later reedited on three staves and I used this last version.
