Irish composer John McCann (b. 1961) is a Roman Catholic priest and has served as lecturer in liturgy and music and master of ceremonies to the Archbishop of Dublin. He was educated at University College (Dublin) and the Pontifical Liturgical Institute of Rome. McCann was the winner of the 1997 R.T.E (Irish Radio) Church Music Competition.
