Sonata in D major (Wq 70/5) I

The edition I used for this submission is part of the complete works of C.P.E. Bach published by the Packard Humanities Instutute. Their purpose was to "make available, in both printed and digital formats, a critical edition of the composer's works". This particular volume is devoted to the complete organ works, and includes only those sonatas that were listed in Bach's own catalog as being composed for the organ. The volume is beautifully engraved and is hard-covered. The publishers also wanted to produce an edition that practicing musicians could afford (what a concept!) resulting in a purchase price of $24 USD.
