Here are two versions of 541 on two very different organs which are not so often heard on CCH : the ringing and silvery G, Silbermann from Zoblitz and the grumbling darker and powerful Engler from Kreszow. Each organ has led (unconsciously) to a peculiar approach and the two versions sound rather different (almost a minute slower on Kreszow, and even the slips are not exactly at the same places !),
