Frédéric Inigo (b. 1959) — Centon, set (2001) for organ
French composer Frédéric Inigo (b. 1959) was born in Paris and studied in Aix-en-Provence with Pierre Villette and Louis Saguer. An active composer and performer, he was one of the founders of the experimental group Ensemble Décadanse.
“Centon, set” (2001) is an atmospheric and hypnotic piece. Marked “tranquille,” a gentle undulating figure repeats throughout as a cycle of harmonies change underneath.
