Console Craft Update: Multi-Language Support (5 Languages), Canvas Grid Alignment & Smart Sample Protection!
Hello Organ Builders & Hauptwerk Community,
I’m excited to share a major update to Console Craft! What started as a focused utility has officially gone continental, making ODF generation more accessible, precise, and user-friendly for organ builders across the globe.
Here is a breakdown of what’s new in this release:
1. Full Multi-Language Support (5 Languages)
Console Craft now features dynamic internationalization! You can instantly switch between languages right from the top navigation bar:
English
French (Français)
German (Deutsch)
Italian (Italiano)
Spanish (Español)
All workspace controls, division definitions, coupler labels, and helper descriptions automatically adapt to your chosen language. The application also saves your language preference, so the next time you launch Console Craft, it automatically loads your last selected language.
2. Canvas Grid & Snap-to-Grid Positioning
Designing clean, symmetrical console layouts is now much faster:
Toggleable Grid Lines: Turn canvas grid lines on or off whenever you need visual guidelines.
Snap to Grid: Toggle precision snapping (with customizable pixel steps like 10px) so drawknobs, switches, and division controls lock seamlessly into place without tedious manual pixel tweaking.
3. Automatic Sample Folder Protection
No more accidental overwrites! When uploading sample folders, Console Craft now automatically assigns unique folder naming schemes under the hood. This ensures your existing organ sample sets remain completely untouched during project iterations.
