Viewing a CCH upload doesn't matter to any bot. However, it is IMPORTANT to NOT CLICK any hyperlinks in such posts (most prominently, in the description), as these _can_ take you to the spammers' sites which may contain malware or other content you may dislike.

Here's my extensive list of CCH user IDs, which are either spam suspects or even confirmed spam accounts (due to the nature of their profile pics and/or descriptions). Most likely, this is not a complete list since the reported IDs are gathered from my April CCH backup (read the other related thread for more info in case you didn't already) and new accounts most probably have been created in the mean time.

Ok, but this "List of Suspected Abusers" alerts me to not even view the spam uploads, so there is no risk of accidentally clicking on any dangerous link.

That's perfectly fine.

My intention was to clarify (for other readers of this thread) that "just viewing" an upload post does neither technically "help" any bot nor poses the risk of carrying out any malicious action.
(Playing the audio _does_ increase the view counter for that piece, though.)

This was done to prevent unsubstantiated fear induced by possible misinterpretation.
