Of course there is a big grey area, because many compositions didn't survive of certain composers. Composers like Constantijn Huygens, Cornelis Schuyt, Unico van Wassenaar and Willem de Fesch definitely composed for keyboard instruments, but none of these works survived.

That's indeed too bad. There is more old keyboard music, but unpublished, but I heard it here and there as played by Gert Oost, who died and so I have no idea of those scores.

Thanks. Interresting. The Boutmy family is from Brussel. The father Josse wrote 3 harpsichords books. I love his music.
