Rheinberger is apt to be under-rated but this is a fine piece of 19th century counterpoint.
I've made quite a lot of small adjustments to the balance and blend of this sample set, which I wasn't really happy with out of the box. I don't think it's beyond improvement still but it seems to work more how (I think) it ought to. Will be interested to hear feedback on that!
I decided against the 'kaleidoscopic' approach to the Intermezzo, but you can still hear a selection of the beautiful solo combinations on this organ, as well as the impressive choruses.
