This composite organ does not attempt to replicate the sound of the organ at Chartres Cathedral exactly, but is only based on the specification of the organ and the overall neo-classical character by using similar organ sample sets with voicing touches and minor changes. The composite has a very long and immersive reverb but comes out beautifully clear due to the classical character, while also remaining affected by the symphonic styleof Cavaille-Coll and the French Romantic organ building. The organ is a French Romantic/Neo-Classical type. It has multiple-release samples. |
